April 3 – Thursday – Rod Stewart –Never A Dull Moment
I realize I should give a little Rod history, but the truth is that by the time I first heard of him he already had established himself as the singer in the Jeff Beck Group. He joined the remaining Faces with Ron Wood when Steve Marriot left the Small Faces, but launched his solo career at the same time. This particular album is okay – a bit, yes I’ll say it, dull, especially after Gasoline Alley. And I’m feeling rather dull this evening. So really, not much to write about tonight, except it wasn’t a bad workout, short but adequate. I zoned.
